This project is launched to reduce the company’s negative impact on the environment during production. For this purpose, it is necessary to self-assess the existing and planned impact on the environment, to create (update) the company’s products throughout their life cycle, as well as to implement an environmental management system in operation.
The project will carry out 3 activities:

  1. An environmental management system is being implemented in accordance with the requirements of the LST EN ISO 14001 standard
  2. An audit of production technologies is performed
  3. Ecological product design
    Project duration – 15 months.


UAB Meksas is implementing the project “Export Development of UAB Meksas in New Markets” (No. 03.2.1-LVPA-K-801-05-0263). The main goal of the project is to increase the export volume of UAB Meksas products. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to go to nine international exhibitions, where the name of the company will be popularized, the company’s products will be presented, contacts will be established, and new business contacts will be established. The implementation of the project will have a positive impact on the entire company’s activities – the company’s sales will grow, competitiveness and awareness will increase.

The financing and administration agreement with the Lithuanian Business Support Agency was signed in accordance with the 2014–2020. Measure No. of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 3 “Promotion of Small and Medium Business Competitiveness” 03.2.1-LVPA-K-801 “New opportunities for LT”.

Project financing – 45000,00 Eur from the European Regional Development Fund.

The implementation period of the project activities is from 2019 July until 2021 in April.


UAB Meksas is currently implementing the project “Implementation of Technological Eco-Innovations in UAB Meksas (No. 03.3.2-LVPA-K-837-03-0052). The project aims to implement new technological eco-innovations that reduce the negative impact of the environment on the environment and conserve natural resources. The project will invest in cleaner production technologies, upgrade products that will become more environmentally friendly, start producing new products from waste, reduce production waste, save natural resources, reduce environmental pollution, increase labor productivity and product quality parameters.

The financing and administration agreement with the Lithuanian Business Support Agency was signed in accordance with the 2014–2020 regulations. Measure No. of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 3 “Promotion of Small and Medium Business Competitiveness” 03.3.2-LVPA-K-837 „Eco-innovations LT+“.

UAB Meksas is implementing the project “Implementation of technological eco-innovations of UAB Meksas” (No. 03.3.2-LVPA-K-837-02-0019). The project aims to implement new technological eco-innovations that reduce the negative impact of the environment on the environment and conserve natural resources. Thanks to the project, modern production equipment will be purchased, currently produced products will be improved, the amount of waste generated in production will be reduced, natural resources will be saved, environmental pollution will be reduced, and the company’s productivity and competitiveness will increase.

The main activity of UAB Meksas is the production of plastic parts for the construction industry, the production of plastic hangers, the production of plastic packaging plugs used in the chemical industry, custom production. At present, production is carried out only with partially automated processes. Therefore, a technological audit of the company’s production and production-related processes was performed. His findings recommended the need to digitize production management and plastic processing processes. The main problems are: a) insufficient use of materials and energy during the production process, low labor productivity b) untapped opportunities to start production of new products from plastic waste generated in the production process. The reasons for the problem are the company’s insufficient investment in industrial digital technologies. Taking this into account, the company decided to implement the project “Implementation of Digital Technologies in UAB Meksas. During the implementation of the project, UAB Meksas will implement industrial digital technologies. The implementation of the project will allow the company to increase labor productivity, product range, sales and export volumes, and the company’s competitiveness in Lithuanian and foreign markets. The equipment planned to be purchased and installed in the project will allow to reduce production costs, use resources more efficiently, apply the most advanced solutions in the field of product production.

Project implementation period – from 2018 May 4 until 2022 April 15.


Joint-stock company Meksas is implementing the project Implementation of Modern Production Technologies in UAB Meksas (No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-850-01-0151). The aim of the project is to implement modern production technologies. The planned purchase and installation of plastic molding equipment will reduce production costs, use resources more efficiently, and apply the most advanced solutions in the field of plastic products. Successful implementation of the project will allow to increase labor productivity, product range, sales and export volumes, and the company’s competitiveness in Lithuanian and foreign markets.

The financing and administration agreement with the Lithuanian Business Support Agency was signed in accordance with the 2014–2020 regulations. Measure No. of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 3 “Promotion of Small and Medium Business Competitiveness” 03.3.1-LVPA-K-850 „Regio potencialas LT“.

Project financing – 68 900,00 Eur from the European Regional Development Fund.

Project implementation period – from 2019 November 07 until 2021 June 30.


Joint-stock company Meksas is implementing the project “Implementation of Energy Production Capacities Using Renewable Energy Sources UAB Meksas No. 04.2.1-LVPA-K-836-04-0048.

The aim of the project is to install a solar power plant in order to use energy to meet the company’s internal needs. The installation of the equipment will allow to reduce the consumption of traditional energy, reduce the cost of production, increase the company’s competitiveness in the market. The project will also have a positive impact on the environment as it will contribute to the conservation of natural resources.

Project budget: 411 764,00 EUR, Project financing – 247 058,00 EUR from the European Regional Development Fund.

Project duration: 12 months.

The project is implemented in accordance with the 2014-2020. Measure No. of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 4 “Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Production and Use”. 04.2.1-LVPA-K-836 “Renewable energy resources for industry LT +”.

The project is financed by the European Union Structural Funds and the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania.
